Lesley’s Magical Dreamscapes respects your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, what information may be received through this website, why it is used, and the choices available to you.

1. Information we may receive

The website does not require visitors to create an account. If you choose to contact Lesley, we may receive the information you provide, such as your name, email address, subject and message.

The Contact form opens your own email program. The website itself does not maintain an online database of Contact-form messages. Your email provider and our email provider may process and retain the message in the ordinary course of providing email services.

2. How information is used

Information sent to us is used only for reasonable purposes connected with your enquiry, such as replying to you, discussing Lesley’s poems or stories, or arranging an order where applicable. We do not sell personal information or use contact details for unrelated advertising.

3. Children’s privacy

We do not offer children’s accounts and do not ask children to provide their address, school, date of birth, photograph, video, location or other identifying information. Please do not send photographs or personal stories identifying a child. If we learn that a child has sent personal information without appropriate adult involvement, we will take reasonable steps to delete it unless it must be retained for a lawful reason.

4. Website operation and technical information

Like most websites, the hosting service may automatically create technical logs needed for security and reliable operation. These may include an internet address, browser type, requested page and date or time. We do not use this website to create advertising profiles of visitors.

At the date of this policy, we do not deliberately place our own advertising or tracking cookies. If analytics, purchasing facilities or other services are added later, this policy will be updated as appropriate.

5. YouTube and other external websites

The website contains links to YouTube and may contain links to other external services. When you follow an external link, that service may collect information under its own privacy policy. Lesley’s Magical Dreamscapes does not control those external services.

6. Purchases and payments

If purchasing facilities are introduced, payments may be handled by a specialist payment provider. We do not intend to receive or store your full payment-card details. The payment provider will handle information under its own privacy terms. We may retain basic transaction, contact, delivery and accounting records where reasonably required.

7. Disclosure, security and retention

We may disclose information to service providers where reasonably necessary to operate the website, email, payments or delivery, or where required or authorised by law. We take reasonable steps to protect information in our control and retain it only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was received, record-keeping, dispute resolution or legal obligations.

8. Access, correction and privacy enquiries

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or raise a privacy concern by emailing lesley@vickeryonline.com. We may need to confirm your identity before providing or changing personal information.
